Chip Sanders

President

Chip Sanders founded Sanders Commercial in 2010. He earned a degree in Business/Economics in 2000 and a Masters in Biblical Exegesis in 2004, both from Wheaton College. Chip began his career as a credit analyst for a commercial real estate financing institution, then managed operations for a property leasing and management firm. Chip enjoys guiding the Sanders Commercial team, and creating solutions for each property’s unique needs. Chip and his wife enjoy their full life with six kids at home and are always planning their next adventure to a western National Park.

Ryan Lorimer

Property Manager

Ryan joined Sanders Commercial in March of 2019. He is a 2009 graduate of Taylor University with a degree in Biblical Literature. His meticulous and detail-oriented personality make him an ideal fit for sifting through leases, analyzing lengthy property documents and creating property budgets. Ryan and his wife enjoy life with two young children who are constantly keeping them busy. Having spent several years living in the mountains of Wyoming, he still enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, running, kayaking, and rock climbing.

Sheldon Powell

Accountant

Sheldon joined Sanders Commercial in May 2024. He graduated from Wheaton College in 2025 with a degree in Business/Economics. Sheldon is passionate about using his skills of critical thinking and attention to detail to effectively oversee Sanders Commercial’s accounting processes and to provide clients with accurate financial information. Sheldon is also an avid runner and sports enthusiast. He enjoys serving in ministries at his church and going on trips with his family.

Emily (Bonga) Charles

Property Manager

Emily graduated from Wheaton College in 2016 with a degree in Business/Economics and Spanish, joining Sanders Commercial in 2024. She enjoys fostering relationships with tenants and vendors and optimizing the maintenance and operations at her buildings. Emily is a homebody who likes curling up with a caramel latte and a good book, trying new recipes with her husband, and playing softball in a local league.

Declan Thompson

Property Manager

Declan graduated from Wheaton College in 2025 with a degree in Business/Economics and Spanish and joined Sanders Commercial shortly after. He enjoys the problem-solving aspect of property management and strives to create efficient and cost-effective solutions for tenants. Declan is from Philadelphia and is an avid Philly sports fan. He also enjoys watching the English Premier League and playing soccer with friends in the area. Declan married his high school sweetheart, Campbell, in 2025.

Adam Baarman

Property Manager

Adam graduated from Purdue University in May of 2025 with a degree in Finance and then joined Sanders Commercial that November. His dedication to seeing problems solved and his adaptability have set him up well for meeting tenants’ needs. Adam cares deeply about serving those tenants and building relationships, while striving to learn and grow with each new situation. He loves watching sports, being active, and spending time with his family in Michigan.
